types to sell their products through the New York State
Shopping Mall. Whether you’re a manufacturer,
distributor, wholesaler, e-commerce web site,
membership provider or retailer, the New York
Shopping Mall can boost your distribution. We will accept almost any product, whether
its hand-made oven mitts, soap, candles,
downloadable materials, subscription plans a large screen
TV or even bigger ticket items. We are especially interested in
unique and unusual products.
To
sell your products on the New York State Shopping
Mall, you must meet the following simple
requirements:
- You have products to ship via USPS,
UPS, FedEx , DHL, Freight or downloadable products
or you provide a membership
subscription service such as magazine,
newspaper, club membership etc.
- You can provide text descriptions and images
of your products, in electronic format,
including available sizes, color, quantity
available for each product. (Images are
optional).
- You have a verifiable email account to receive orders.
- You have ability to accept payments online
by CC or Check. (PayPal account, Merchant
Account or Check writing software). You also may elect to receive payments
(Money Orders and Checks) via USPS, Phone, FAX or
process CC's offline using your own terminal. Wire transfers available for large $ orders.
Off-Line Customer orders are automatically placed in
a "Queued" status until you receive payment or
manually process the CC payment and update their
order.
Each product supplier is provided with:
- Real-Time shipping rate calculations (FedEx, UPS, USPS, DHL).
- Unlimited number of product uploads (Sell 1 or 1,000's of products).
- Multiple ways to accept consumer product payments (CC, Pay-Pal, Check, MO, USPS, Phone orders, wire transfer etc).
- Unlimited product options (Color, Size, ISBN, Manufacture, etc).
- Ability to upload multiple products in CSV format.
- Upoad multiple product images (Thumbnail and Detailed view).
- Live Help customer support. May communicate with online customers in real-time as they are viewing particular products.
- Upsell capabilities. May recommend other related products to customers while they are viewing/purchasing current products.
- Product Promotion. May advertise specific products to targeted customers by demographics, buying history and more.
- All products listed on New York Mall systems are also listed on 'Google' ™ shopping systems 'Froogle'™ .
- Online sales tracking support.
- Ability to integrate In-House sales with Internet Sales.
- Export sales data to MS Excell.
- Export sales data to Quick Books.
- All sales transactions are encripted with 128 bit encription and procesessed on secure server.
Fee structure for listing and product sales:
- $50.00 one-time set up fee (Includes activation of 'Provider Account', Own company 'Live Help' systems, One-on-one tech support, Live Help graphics design, access to 'provider' support area including Support Forum, Online Help files and downloadable training movies in swf format.).
- 2.5% selling fee is assessed for each product sold based on actual sales amount received prior to any tax or shipping. Fee is deducted from internal individual provider account that each provider must fund prior to products going live on the mall. Minimum Funding amount will be determined by retail sales value of highest priced product listed for sale and anticipated monthly sales. This portion of our fee structure will not be emplemented until June 06.
NOTE: $50.00 set-up fee is subject to promotional discounts offered from time to time.
Advantage to listing is.... any New York or New Jersey company may list and sell an unlimited number of products through the New York State Mall at a cost of only 2.5% of product sales fee. No need to design or purchase your own web site with shopping cart software nor do you need to spend additional advertising dollars promoting your products online. We handle all online product promotion and site advertisement to get your products in front of the online buying public. We further continue your product promotion by optionaly promoting your products in our customer newsletters.
